Overview
Dylan Priest is a commercial photographer and cinematographer based in Seattle, Washington. For over two decades, he's been shooting lifestyle and brand work that feels like it was captured rather than constructed — natural light, real people, and a quiet confidence in letting the moment do the work.
Trained at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Dylan has spent his career building a practice that spans both still photography and motion — a rare combination that matters more as brands demand visual consistency across every platform. When you work with Dylan, your photography and your video speak the same language, because they came from the same eye.
His clients include Microsoft, Starbucks, GQ Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, American Eagle Outfitters, and Sur La Table, among others. He's shot in studio and on location, from editorial spreads to national advertising campaigns.
Dylan operates his own studio in Seattle's SoDo neighborhood — 750 square feet with 19-foot ceilings, ideal for portrait, product, and smaller video productions. He's available for projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and worldwide.
When he's not on set, you'll find him riding bikes with his twin daughters.

Dylan is a fantastic and dynamic collaborator. He is a talented photographer and brings his eye for emotion and composition to his directorial video work as well. In addition to creating beautiful work, he is easy to work with, a good communicator, and a pleasure to have on set. It is clear he cares about the work and makes suggestions for ways to improve process and the creative throughout a project. My team and myself love working with him.

Dylan's videos for our nonprofit are wonderful. He worked to understand our needs and vision, and created videos that exceeded our expectations. He worked to get the shots we needed, edited beautiful videos meeting our requirements, and the final products perfectly capture the information and feeling we were looking for.

Dylan was such a joy to work with. He was quick to respond, extremely organized and asked for all information up front. We're located in Indianapolis and needed someone in Seattle to help us with an offsite job. Dylan is extremely reliable and flexible. Even with the project was over, he didn't stop until the videos were perfect (which only took two versions.) We're very pleased with the finished product. Thank you, Dylan!
