Artist At Home : Eric Anderson
I met Eric just earlier this summer when his band Cataldo played one of our Notesfromhome.tv house shows. It was the first time I got to see him play. Cataldo was amazing that night, and I have been listening to his upcoming record, "Prision Boxing" for months on end. I really just can't turn it off, it is too good. He will be releasing said record on my birthday actually. Eric is a really great guy and it was fun hanging out for a bit talking music, ice cream, life. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but Dylan Priest's are worth at least a solid 1,500.
His story began as a small child growing up in Kansas, when, according to his mother, he once produced a crayon drawing stating that he would grow up to be a photographer. He has never seen this drawing, but that did not keep it from becoming a binding contract on his life, and a felicitous one at that.
