Artist At Home : Alex Niedzialkowski
The first time I saw Alex's band play was in a living room of a friends house towards the end of the summer. She was the opening act before Joe Pug. She played a beautiful set in the glow of the setting sun coming through the windows. She played her set unplugged and with no backing band. It was a really great set. Flash forward to last month and I caught her full act at the Comet. Hearing her songs with her back band and It really sunk in how great her songs are. Really beautiful songs to accompany any mood. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but Dylan Priest's are worth at least a solid 1,500.
His story began as a small child growing up in Kansas, when, according to his mother, he once produced a crayon drawing stating that he would grow up to be a photographer. He has never seen this drawing, but that did not keep it from becoming a binding contract on his life, and a felicitous one at that.
